Grigorij
This is an interview with a brothel owner in Tetovo (Macedonia) who is one of the many newcomer pimps subsidized through the presence of the KFOR in Macedonia (see also Case 2). He emphasizes to have a better, cleaner and more human establishment compared with the others and regards his work as usual business that "every man wants". He explaines that it's a pity, that he has to force all his girls to do it, but marks out, that it's better for them to be at his place than in another etablishment (source: the Inge Bell archive).

Katarina
This is an interview with "Katarina", a classical "Mama-san" (or "Bordellmutter") who runs for the "boss pimp" a brothel in Tetovo (North-Macedonia, next to Kosovo border). It's an odd, starry-eyed statement, where she always tries to emphasize the better situation in her "house" comparing with the others. But as a cross reference you can read the interview with Lena who was imprisoned as a whore in this brothel. The fact that their etablishment is indeed a better place than most of the others in the town (though it's still not more than a trap for minor girls forced to prostitution) allows an idea of the hell going on in these places (source: the Inge Bell archive).
