// Interview with the KFOR soldier Herbert //

Q: What was your impression of the girl's daily life here?

Herbert: During the time when I was there (...), there was no day off for the girls. We came here in the evening, could stay here until 11pm. Inofficially it could have been possible from 11 until 5am.

Q: How did you come to the club?

Herbert: We came through the garage. In uniforms we drove up with the "Wolf" and regulary with a valid order, with an official car we left the base. Nobody could ever suspect anything. We just drove somewhere, waited until 11pm, then drove as fast as possible to the bar. We had called the owner before and if he could give us green light, we drove up, he opened the gate and we sneaked into the garage. Then we went directly to the bar. One or two beers. Then up to the room...

Q: Have the girls been locked away all the time?

Herbert: Absolutely. I never reelized that any of the girls could freely move around, like in Germany. Absolutely not. In other places it is much more worst. As far as I know many are kept up to 5 or 10 girls in one room. It's more like a cowshed. In Germany you may find an Alsatian with more freedom and space to move than a girl has here. The have absolutely no right here...
